Conn-Selmer and its focus on US manufacturing is featured in Music Trades Magazine article

Posted on August 23, 2012

Conn-Selmer was honored to be featured in an article in the August issue of Music Trades Magazine.  The story focused on Conn-Selmer’s focus on US manufacturing and an alignment of new resources centered on its dealer partners.

The article comes on the tail of Conn-Selmer’s 2nd annual dealer leadership event that was held in Cleveland, Ohio.  Cleveland is the home of Conn-Selmer’s string division and its Eastlake brass plant, so it was a fitting location for dealers to view first-hand the investments that have made in keeping musical instrument manufacturing competitive in the US.

The dealer event included tours of the Eastlake brass facility; leadership, product, and financial training from members of the Conn-Selmer executive team; employee development training from the Disney Institute; a special education roundtable; and special evening receptions at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Severance Hall, the home of the Cleveland Orchestra.
