Sal Lozano, the saxophonist with the television show “Dancing with the Stars”, was at the show demonstrating Selmer Paris saxophones, Avanti flutes, and Bliss clarinets.  He was even seen playing duets with the namesake of the Bliss clarinet, Julian Bliss.  Anesha Dexter, flute instructor for the University of Arkansas, made an autograph appearance and demonstrated why she prefers Avanti flutes.

On Friday, the show was packed with legendary jazz performers including Yanagisawa saxophone artists Mel Martin and Marshall McDonald; King trombone artist Bob McChesney, Selmer Paris saxophone artist Richie Cole, and legendary Bach trombone artist Bill Watrous.  A legendary moment in the show was watching these talented performers together trading improvised solos.  Also on Friday, Conn-Selmer hosted demonstrations and clinics with international saxophone recording artist and Selmer Paris endorser Jessy J; Dan Bochard, longtime Bach trombone loyalist; and Bach trumpet endorser and mariachi performing legend Jose Hernandez .

On the booth throughout the entire show, international clarinet superstar, Julian Bliss was available to sign autographs, perform product demonstrations, and answer any questions about the Bliss line of clarinets.  On Sunday, rounding out the demonstration schedule was the legendary group the Canadian Brass, who performs on Bach and Conn instruments.  The Canadian Brass performed on the main concert stage for NAMM and then led the crowds into the Conn-Selmer booth for a demonstration and autograph signing session.

Conn-Selmer would like to sincerely thank all the legendary performers who made appearances at the show.
